Principal's Message

Dear Prospective Parents,

May the love and peace of Jesus be with you! Fr. Paul Snyder and I would like to express what a privilege it is to welcome you and offer a warm greeting as you explore St. Mary Catholic School.

When we walk into the classrooms, we see in the children’s faces what we love about St. Mary School… happy children who feel safe, appreciated and loved! St. Mary Catholic School provides the environment necessary to produce well-educated young minds and spiritually-motivated children of God.

St. Mary Catholic School is a highly valued ministry of our parish community. Fr. Paul became administrator of St. Mary in July of 2015, and he is committed to a visible presence in and support of our school.   He hopes to continue to provide our students and their families with lifelong memories of wonderful events including our annual Friday Flicks with Father, Breakfast with St. Nicholas and our Summer Concert Series. St. Mary is a strong community, providing an important “church family” for our students and their families.

It is a pleasure to inform you that 70% of our St. Mary teachers hold Master’s degrees in Education. They have an average of 10 years of teaching experience and on a daily basis demonstrate their dedication to living and learning with Christ as our model. Our entire staff is committed to the mission of St. Mary Catholic School… “to provide all children with a quality education in which they will come to know, love and serve God”. We believe that every child is a gift from God and strive to help every child reach his or her full potential.

We hope that the information on our website answers many of the questions you may have about our school. Please feel free to call the school at 248.545.2140 with any additional questions or in order to schedule a tour.

Thank you for your interest in making St. Mary Catholic School a partner in helping to prepare your child academically, spiritually and socially.
