From a very young age, I felt the “calling” to become a teacher. I knew I was created to somehow change the world, and growing up, it became clear to me that the best way to change the world is to teach children. I truly believe that the future of the world as we know it is seated in my classroom, and it is my job to help shape them into the kind, loving, and wise people they soon will grow up to be — not because I have to, but because I want to.
My passion for learning began back in grade school, so I know it all starts with one passionate teacher who inspires. I know my enthusiasm rubs off on my students when they are engaged and excited both during lessons and even afterwards! It is my personal goal as an educator to motivate students to remain curious all throughout life, to never stop asking questions, and to always want to learn more. This includes a passion for learning about the Holy Trinity. I absolutely love being able to talk openly about my faith in God with my students, which is why working at a Catholic school is so awesome! St. Mary Catholic School feels like home, and that makes us all, students and teachers together, one big, loving family. And I am so very grateful to be a part of this family.
